Indicted for "homicide and involuntary injuries" after the serious road accident he caused on February 10, comedian Pierre Palmade no longer has a wax statue at the Grévin Museum since last Saturday.

The management of the establishment says it acted "out of consideration for the family" affected in the collision.

The famous Grévin Museum has now lost one of its famous wax statues.

While the Parisian establishment, located on the Grands Boulevards, recently welcomed host Denis Brogniart, footballer Antoine Griezmann and actress Audrey Fleurot, he has just lost comedian Pierre Palmade, according to information from

The actor has been in turmoil for almost two weeks and the serious road accident that occurred in Seine-et-Marne on February 10, which he caused.

The actor, accompanied by two escort-boys, was under the influence of cocaine when he hit an oncoming car, seriously injuring its three occupants, including a pregnant woman who lost her baby.

Indicted for "injury and manslaughter", Pierre Palmade therefore no longer has a sculpture in his likeness since last Saturday.

"We have decided to remove it out of respect for the family (affected by the collision). It is a tragic affair, and we are more than sorry for it", justified the management of the establishment with BFMTV.

The statue was inaugurated in 2021, in the presence of the artist.

, Yves Delhommeau, director of the museum, ensures that such a decision "was necessary" in particular because of this second case which revolves around the person concerned.

Pierre Palmade is indeed the subject of an investigation for child pornography, opened after the hearing of various witnesses.

One of them claims to have a video showing the comedian viewing child pornography content.

The statue of Pierre Palmade will therefore join that of Vladimir Poutine, also banished after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, or that of Donald Trump, removed in 2021. According to Le Parisien,

the

museum has a hangar in the north of the capital. where are housed a plethora of sculptures bearing the effigy of characters from all walks of life.

For his part, the comedian, currently under house arrest in the addiction service of a hospital in Val-de-Marne, is suspended from the decision of the Paris Court of Appeal.

Its investigating chamber must indeed examine this Friday the appeal filed by the Melun prosecution which had requested the placement in pre-trial detention of the actor.
