On Thursday morning, Israeli aircraft bombed sites of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza City, after rockets were fired from the Strip in response to the massacre committed by the occupation army in the city of Nablus in the West Bank, while the Israeli police raised the state of alert in anticipation of Palestinian retaliation.

These developments come after the death of 11 Palestinians and the wounding of more than 100 others yesterday, Wednesday, when the occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.

Among the martyrs who were buried yesterday evening, in the presence of large crowds, were an elderly man and a boy, and members of the "Nablus Battalion" of the Islamic Jihad Movement, and the "Lions' Den" group, which includes resistance fighters from different factions.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military arm of the Jihad movement, announced the martyrdom of the commander of the Nablus Brigade, Muhammad Abu Bakr Junaidi, during the confrontations, and Hamas announced that one of its members was one of the martyrs in Nablus.

The Lions' Den group in Nablus called on its cadres to prepare for a response, and said in a statement that it would not back down and would continue the path.

For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza have warned that their patience is running out.

As for the Palestinian leadership, it called on the international community to intervene to protect the Palestinian people.

For its part, Israeli Channel 12 said that National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir spoke with Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai about police preparations following the operation in Nablus and threats of retaliation, adding that Shabtai told Ben Gvir that the police would reinforce its forces in all areas.
