NATO talks between Sweden, Finland and Turkey have been on hold since the Koran burning in Stockholm at the end of January.

But in an interview in Aktuellt, Kristersson says that the talks will resume in mid-March.

- There is also a date, says Kristersson.

However, he does not want to say which date in March the talks will take place yet.

- It's not a secret, but we want it confirmed.

Turkey has previously indicated that it may only ratify Finland's NATO application.

But during a press conference on Monday together with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, it sounded more encouraging.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu said that it is ready to hold more meetings with both Sweden and Finland.

Hungary will also make a decision in March

In addition to Turkey, Hungary must also approve Sweden's membership in Turkey.

That will also take place in March, says Kristersson.
