According to Zakharova, statements by some Western politicians about some kind of “Chinese peace plan” distort the real picture.
She noted that the Chinese side briefed Moscow on the root causes of the crisis in Ukraine and approaches to its settlement.
“There was no talk about any separate “plan”, ”the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry quotes her as saying.
Earlier, Wang Yi said that China is grateful to Russia for its readiness to resolve the Ukrainian crisis through negotiations.
