It was around 7 p.m. that the police were alerted, via SOS, about an injured person indoors.
The victim was Mats Löfving, who was found dead in his home in Norrköping.
The police state that Mats Löfving's relatives have been informed.

Initiated death investigation
Mats Löfving has been the subject of an investigation within the police, in which it was found that he acted aggressively in several situations concerning the former head of intelligence, Linda Staaf.
The results of the investigation were made public on Wednesday.
The police have now started a death investigation and are working further to clarify what happened, they write on their website.
