Naval exercises of Russia, South Africa and China began in Africa

“A solemn opening ceremony of a trilateral naval exercise was held in the port of Richards Bay of the Republic of South Africa, in which ships of the Russian Navy, the South African National Defense Forces and the Navy of the People’s Liberation Army of China will take part,” — the Russian Ministry of Defense said.

The active part of the exercise will take place from 25 to 27 February.

The Russian Federation is represented at the exercise by the frigate Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov and the medium sea tanker Kama of the Northern Fleet.
