Ryabkov will represent the president when the parliament considers the suspension of Russia's participation in the New START Treaty

The corresponding order of the Russian President is published on the portal of legal information.

“To appoint Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Alekseevich Ryabkov as the official representative of the President,” the document says.

On February 21, Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced that Russia was suspending its participation in the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty.

Moscow does not withdraw from the agreement, namely, it suspends its participation, the President noted.
