"A resident of Kamchatka has been convicted of public calls for terrorist and extremist activities," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.

It is noted that from June 2020 to February 2022, the man regularly called for shooting, killing and burning Russians in his social networks.

In court, the convict stated that he repented and changed his views.

In January, a court in Moscow added 3.5 years to the term of the previously convicted former shiigumen Sergiy (Romanov) in the case of extremism.
