The weather on Tuesday: overcast around the Mediterranean, more or less cloudy elsewhere

The weather on Tuesday will be cloudy, especially in the south and west of France which will experience some showers, according to Météo-France forecasts.

The cloud cover will remain dense throughout the day from Languedoc-Roussillon towards the lower Rhone Valley, the Côte d'Azur and Corsica.

Some scattered rain may occur on the Cévennes relief.

On the sidelines of a new degradation arriving from the Iberian Peninsula, the sky will be loaded with increasingly compact high clouds south of the Garonne from daybreak.

These clouds will then reach Poitou-Charentes, Limousin for midday and then occupy the regions from the central Pyrenees to Brittany in the afternoon, dropping a few showers.
