“Personnel on duty is organized around the clock to ensure fire safety at the Zaporozhye NPP,” Kurenkov was quoted as saying by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The department also said that fire safety in the rest of the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region is provided by 27 divisions.

Also, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations provide protection for Energodar.

Earlier, adviser to the general director of the Rosenergoatom Concern, Renat Karchaa, said that the construction of a structure to protect key facilities of the Zaporizhzhya NPP from shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is at the stage of completion.

On February 11, the suburb of Enerhodar came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zaporozhye NPP was not damaged.
