Personally, I think from the perspective of globalization, the huge domestic market in mainland China actually provides a lot of opportunities, and if you want to enter the domestic market, you often have to share the same language and culture.
So for me who graduated from Taiwan, a common language and a common culture can actually allow me to develop better here.
[Explanation] Recently, Huang Baixiang, a young man from Taiwan who has been rooted in the mainland's financial industry for many years, accepted an exclusive interview with a reporter from China News Agency.
He came to Beijing for the first time in 2006, which coincided with the end of the financial industry transition period when China joined the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the beginning of the implementation of the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" in the mainland. In fact, we discovered at that time that because I was studying finance, the financial industry in mainland China would be more integrated into the global economy at that time, so it would usher in a broader space.
[Explanation] After obtaining a Ph.D. in Finance from National Chengchi University in Taiwan in 2014, Huang Baixiang resolutely chose to work for China Everbright Group, a central enterprise in Beijing, and hoped to quickly integrate into the development of the mainland with the help of the familiar language and culture.

At that time (the first time I came) it was just before the Olympics, so I found out that at that time, whether it was the subway or related construction in the mainland, it was the source of high-speed start before the Olympics, and whether it was in these Didi Taking taxis and sharing bicycles is relatively easy in terms of travel, so in the hardware (hardware) stage, we can see that there is indeed a big improvement.
[Explanation] Working in the financial industry in mainland China, what impresses him most is "equal treatment".
Huang Baixiang said that the mainland has always respected, cared for and benefited Taiwan compatriots, and promoted the spiritual harmony of compatriots on both sides of the strait by giving equal opportunities.

I am in the financial industry. In fact, I can see the family and country feelings based on the close combination of "what the central enterprises can do" and the so-called "needs of the country and expectations of the people".
I feel that as a compatriot in Taiwan, I am actually very honored to participate in the process of "equal treatment" to participate in the high-quality development of a comprehensive socialist modern country like the mainland.

Huang Baixiang said that the company respects him as a Taiwan compatriot and his experience of studying in Taiwan, and provides a research stage for targeted exchanges, cooperation and training in the economic and financial fields he is good at.

So I think that although many of them are "equal treatment", but in "seeking common ground while reserving differences", I can also feel that the mainland actually cares for us, including my colleagues and my leaders, so this is what makes me special moved.
[Explanation] Huang Baixiang said that he chose to work in a mainland enterprise, and he got a good basic guarantee, and he also felt the spirit of the mainland to consider the well-being of Taiwan youth and absorb the opinions of Taiwan youth.
In addition to his own work, Huang Baixiang has participated in public welfare activities many times, allowing everyone to feel the "Beijing temperature".

I think it is very important to have a global perspective. We must master this point. Second, I think integration is very important to successfully find a job in the mainland.
Therefore, I think that integrating into the cultures of both sides of the strait and then jointly embracing the Chinese dream of rejuvenating the Chinese nation is the last step, and I think it is also the most critical step, for Taiwanese friends to succeed in employment here.
[Explanation] Huang Baixiang said that many Taiwanese youths first came to the mainland to exchange and study, and then stayed. This is more advantageous than their own at the beginning. I hope that they can gradually improve themselves and achieve better development in the process of integration. .
