Let's go for the holidays in zone C!

The inhabitants of Paris, Créteil, Versailles, Toulouse and Montpellier should be numerous on the roads this Saturday, in particular in the direction of the ski resorts.

The Alps are not the only ones to attract holidaymakers, smaller areas in the Vosges are also filling up.

REPORTING

This Saturday already sounds the end of the holidays for schoolchildren in zone A, but for those in zone C, on the contrary, it's just the beginning.

The inhabitants of Paris, Créteil, Versailles, Toulouse and Montpellier should be numerous to go to the ski resorts.

If the Alps attract many holidaymakers each year, the small resorts of the Vosges also attract many tourists.

Europe 1 went to Gérardmer.

A resort known for its family atmosphere and affordable prices

Ski helmet screwed on the head, Noa and Lola hurtle down the blue slopes at full speed.

"It was great", "I had a blast, the lessons were too good", launch these two children at the microphone of Europe 1. After a difficult start to winter, the powder is finally present in the resort with 30 centimeters average snowfall.

Aurélie, the mother, does not regret having traveled 500 kilometers from Valenciennes to come to the Vosges.

"We wanted to spend a little time together and we did well!"

Luckily, the sun is also present this week.

Aurélie recommends this mid-mountain resort renowned for its family atmosphere and affordable prices.

It will take 31.50 euros for a full day pass.

Reservations are in full swing

"We find that there are a little more people than compared to previous years," she continues.

Is it correct ?

If the rates can attract tourists, Benoît Perrin, director of the station, refuses to give figures but confirms that reservations are in full swing.

"At the moment attendance is strong and bookings are encouraging for next week."

But with mercury expected to exceed 15 degrees next week, the snow is likely to disappear again in Gérardmer.
