Maija was talking to a friend on the phone when she saw the commotion outside.
The police had blocked off the street and the shot-wounded man had been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
- I had been told that there was someone who had been shot.
When I checked out, I only saw police officers, says Maija Oksanen.
Several people arrested
During the night, several people were also arrested, who are now arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The police do not want to go into gender, age or how many people are involved.
- All those involved in this case are known to us from before and they are people who move in the gang criminal circles, says Evelina Olsson, press spokesperson at the police.
