The government is also proceeding with the selection of invited countries other than the G7, and has so far entered into coordination with the direction of inviting the leaders of India and Australia.

The G7 = Hiroshima Summit by seven major countries will be three months until the opening on May 19th on the 19th, and the government is accelerating preparations such as adjusting the agenda and security of the venue.



At the summit, the government hopes to discuss the situation in Ukraine, as well as global issues such as nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, food issues, and climate change with countries other than the G7, and is proceeding with the selection of invited countries.

According to government officials, so far, India's Prime Minister Modi, who is also a member of the Quad, a framework of four countries of Japan, the United States, Australia, and India, and shares values ​​such as democracy and the rule of law, and Australian Prime Minister Albaneesy. I entered the adjustment in the direction of inviting.



In addition, we would like to strengthen cooperation with emerging countries and developing countries called "Global South", and we are considering inviting representatives of related regional organizations.
