Chinese Foreign Ministry demanded that the United States refuse to contact the army of Taiwan in order to avoid escalation

“We insist that the American side ... stop official interaction with Taiwan, as well as military contacts in any form, stop interfering in the Taiwan issue and creating factors that will lead to another escalation of tension in the Taiwan Strait,” TASS quotes him.

Earlier, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce listed US companies Lockheed Martin and Raytheon Missiles & Defense as unreliable after they began supplying weapons to Taiwan.

As previously stated in the Chinese Ministry of Defense, the sale of US weapons to Taiwan is a gross interference in the internal affairs of China.
