"You take a teenager from high school and give her one of Sweden's most important ministerial posts".

That's how it sounded about climate minister Romina Pourmokhtari (L) from the Sweden Democratic side.

The climate issue seems to be brewing as an internal battle between the government and the cooperation party SD, and now the rhetoric is sharpening - not least against Sweden's youngest minister of all time.

SD politicians Elsa Widding and Jessica Stegrud have accused Romina Pourmokhtari of being both ignorant and "a little girl", while Dick Erixon, publisher of SD's TV channel Riks, believes that she is only a minister to "become popular" in left circuits.
