Russian Defense Ministry: Armed Forces retreated several kilometers from the occupied lines in the LPR

A statement on the department’s Telegram channel says that motorized riflemen of the Central Military District broke through the enemy’s echeloned defenses in a wooded area in the republic.

“During the offensive of the military personnel of the Central Military District, Ukrainian troops randomly retreated to a distance of up to three kilometers from the previously occupied lines,” the Ministry of Defense reports.

Earlier, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People's Militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko said that in the area of ​​Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) in the DPR, cases of panicked flight of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their positions near the city are recorded.
