The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in a statement - today, Tuesday - the death of two Palestinians, one of them during a raid on the Al-Faraa camp in the northern occupied West Bank, and the other succumbed to his injury two years ago by live bullets of the occupation soldiers in Masafer Yatta.

Meanwhile, the Israeli government decided to deploy more police forces in East Jerusalem, after the demands of the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, to demolish Palestinian homes in the city.

The statement said, "The death of the child, Mahmoud Majed Muhammad Al-Aidi (17 years), of critical injuries sustained by live bullets from the occupation in the head, at dawn today, Tuesday, in Al-Fara'a camp" in the northern West Bank, during the occupation's raid on the camp.

Eyewitnesses in Tubas told Agence France-Presse that the occupation forces stormed Al-Farga camp to arrest Palestinians, and clashes took place with stones during which Al-Aidi was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers, and was subsequently transferred to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus due to the seriousness of his condition, where his death was announced.

The Palestinian Health Ministry also announced the death of Harun Rasmi Youssef Abu Aram (20 years old), who was injured two years ago by live bullets from the occupation in Masafer Yatta. His injury led to quadriplegia and health complications, as a result of which he died.

The occupation army declared Masafer Yatta a closed military zone and expelled many of its Palestinian residents.

These developments come with the Israeli army announcing the implementation of a campaign of arrests in large parts of the cities and villages of the occupied West Bank, from north to south.

Yesterday, an Israeli policeman was killed in a stabbing operation, during which he was also wounded by a bullet fired by an armed security guard aiming to hit the attacker, but he missed, and another Israeli was wounded in a second stabbing, and the two attacks took place in occupied East Jerusalem and were carried out by two Palestinian boys from the Shuafat refugee camp.

Deployment of more Israeli police in Jerusalem

Meanwhile, the Israeli government decided to deploy more police in East Jerusalem, and the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation stated that "the political echelon decided to deploy 3 companies of reserve forces of the Border Police in the city."

She added that a final decision in this regard is expected to be issued in the coming days.

The occupation police increased their presence in East Jerusalem in recent weeks.

The decision comes at a time of escalating differences between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the leader of the far-right "Jewish Power" party, Itamar Ben Gvir, over the escalation of the demolition of Palestinian homes in occupied East Jerusalem.

(National Security Minister) Ben Gvir said he wanted to see more settlements, after European foreign ministers and their American counterpart said they were disturbed by Israel's recent decision to allow settlement outposts.

Ben Gvir added - today - in a video message that followed the statement issued by Washington and its European allies France, Germany, Italy and Britain, "The Land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel."

The day before yesterday, Tel Aviv issued a retroactive permit to build 9 settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank, and announced the construction of 10,000 new settlement units in existing settlements, prompting Washington and its four Western allies and the United Nations today to denounce this plan and express their "grave concern" about its outcome.
