Météo France predicts that on Wednesday the weather will be calm over most of the country, but cloudy in Brittany and around the Gulf of Lion.

In Brittany, fog and low clouds will dominate in the morning.

Clearings will reappear during the day, especially in the north of the region.

In the evening, however, the sky will cloud over again.

The weather will be calm on Wednesday over most of the country, but cloudy in Brittany and around the Gulf of Lion, forecasts Météo-France.

In Brittany, fog and low clouds will dominate in the morning.

Clearings will reappear during the day, especially in the north of the region.

In the evening, however, the sky will cover again, bringing a little rain to Finistère.

On the edge of the Gulf of Lion down to the lower Rhone Valley, the sea wind will bring a lot of gray weather and a few drops on the heights in the morning.

These maritime entries will resist especially on the Languedoc in the afternoon.

Over the rest of the country, conditions will remain pleasant overall.

Mists south of the Garonne

Mists will be observed in the morning south of the Garonne, in Provence and on the north-eastern quarter, in particular on the Paris basin, the Hauts-de-France and the plain of Alsace.

This greyness will sometimes be slow to rise but the afternoon will generally continue under a very sunny or temporarily overcast sky.

The Autan wind, close to 50/60 km/h in the morning, will then weaken.

At daybreak, frosts of 0 to -3 degrees will still affect a good half of the country, from the northern and northeastern borders to the Centre-Val de Loire, eastern Limousin, Auvergne- Rhône-Alpes to Haut-Languedoc and the interior of the PACA region.

The maximum temperatures will reach in the afternoon 10 to 15 degrees on the northern half, 13 to 16 in the south with locally 17/18 in the Var and in Aquitaine.

During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, many fogs will reform over the northwest of France, south of the Garonne and in the eastern valleys.
