The announcement of the notification came on 11 January this year.

Immediately afterwards, a relocation investigation was launched.

The idea was to try to see if the staff could work in another part of the municipality.

But it didn't go well.

- We had hoped that we would have been able to find jobs for a few, but when it became clear that no one else had received any employment within the municipality, we were shocked, says Fredrika Ryngberg, section chairman at Kommunal Öst.

But can you understand the decision?

- You could have kept the staff and reduced the number of children's groups.

It is about a better working environment for the employees, which we have pointed out to the employer, she says.
