The lawyer for the family struck by Pierre Palmade on Friday evening in a violent road accident affirmed that the victims and their relatives were "insensitive to the apologies presented" in a press release relayed by the actor's sister.

They hope that the comedian's "notoriety" will not influence the investigation.

The family present in the vehicle hit by Pierre Palmade on Friday evening will not say sorry to the comedian.

Shortly after the first words relayed by his sister, Hélène Palmade, stressing that the actor was "ashamed" and was ready to assume "the consequences of his actions" after the road accident he caused, the victims and their Relatives responded to be "insensitive to the apologies presented", through the voice of their lawyer Mourad Battikh, during a press conference in Paris.

The latter hope that the "notoriety" of the comedian, who was under the influence of cocaine at the time of the accident, will not influence the investigation.

“The child would have been born alive but this remains to be confirmed”

The lawyer said two of the victims, a 38-year-old man and his 6-year-old son, were still in intensive care on Tuesday.

The boy has a "fractured jaw" and the father has undergone several operations, according to Mr. Battikh.

The third seriously injured, a 27-year-old pregnant woman who lost her baby, is "collapsed", says his lawyer, who indicates that "an emergency cesarean section" was performed.

"The child would have been born alive but this remains to be confirmed by the expertise", he adds.

On Monday, a 47-year-old homeless man was taken into police custody in the Somme after claiming to be one of the two fleeing passengers from the comedian's car.

This "alcoholic" man had himself called 17 around 8 p.m. Monday, "declaring to be one of the passengers of Palmade and wanting to surrender", according to sources close to the investigation.

A gendarmerie patrol had gone to question him on the public highway, where he was.

The investigators had taken his statements with tweezers, explaining that "nothing allows (was) to confirm that he is indeed one of the passengers".

Given his condition, he could not be heard right away.

He finally admitted on Tuesday "having invented these words" and confusedly mentioned the "possibility of a bet" with acquaintances, said one of the sources familiar with the matter.

His custody was lifted, but he was taken back into custody for his false statements.
