Member of the Bundestag Dagdelen warned of a catastrophe due to the refusal of NATO from the taboo on Ukraine

She said this in an interview with Global Times.

Dagdelen called the decision of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to send heavy battle tanks to Ukraine another violation of the taboo and an extremely dangerous escalation.

She expressed concern that due to pressure from Washington, Germany in the future may be on the verge of a military clash with Russia.

“To stop the conflict from escalating into World War III and nuclear armageddon, we must abandon the military logic of escalation and find a diplomatic way out of the crisis,” the politician urged.
