When the Israeli lawyer and politician Itamar Ben-Gvir got a seat in Benjamin Netanyahu's government last year, it was described as Israel's long-time prime minister now making a deal with the devil.

The reason is Ben-Gvir's ultra-nationalist views.

At 16, he joined an anti-Arab party that advocated Jewish supremacy.

He was guarded by Israel's security services and was considered so extreme that he was not allowed to serve in the military.

How did he finally manage to gain power in Israel and what does Benjamin Netanyahu get out of cooperating with someone like Ben-Gvir?

See more about Itamar Ben-Gvir's power in the clip above and in the Foreign Office: Agreement with the devil, Tuesday from 20:00 on SVT Play and 22:00 on SVT2.
