Zakharova on Washington's pressure on Kyiv

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the publication of the American media that US officials are putting pressure on Kyiv in order to intensify hostilities.

As the diplomat noted, we are talking about "the war of the West against Russia to the last Ukrainian."

“American neo-liberals have destroyed Ukraine and are exterminating the Ukrainian people.

American hegemonic ambitions lead to colossal sacrifices,” Zakharova wrote on Telegram.

Accomplices of the Armed Forces of Ukraine work for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

Acting Governor of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo said that the accomplices of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region, after being detained, agree to work for the needs of the Russian military.

According to him, “these spotters and waiters” of the Ukrainian troops are “immediately reforged” when they fall into the hands of law enforcement agencies.

“They do not resist for a long time, heroism ends immediately, and they are already working for the needs of our military,” RIA Novosti quotes Saldo.

He also stressed that the military structures in the region "inspire confidence that there is protection, and this is serious protection."

Scenario of Kyiv to discredit the work of ZNPP

Volodymyr Rogov, chairman of the “We are with Russia” movement, said that the Ukrainian authorities plan to start discrediting the work of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and spin a fake about the Russians preparing an environmental catastrophe.

“They intend to pump a case about increased risks for a nuclear power plant,” RIA Novosti quotes Rogov.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, the Ukrainian side will focus on Russia's alleged inability to guarantee the safe operation of the facility.

“The Kyiv authorities are already starting to push the topic that the Russians are allegedly preparing an environmental catastrophe, since the low water level in the Kakhovka reservoir can lead to the failure of the reactor cooling system,” Rogov explained.

He recalled that the situation with the water level has developed due to the destruction caused by the shelling of the Ukrainian side.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also began to artificially delay the flow of water from the upper cascades of the Dnieper reservoirs.

“Naturally, this all affects the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir,” he said.

At the same time, Rogov noted, the current situation did not affect the work of the plant, the situation at the facility is under the full control of Russian nuclear scientists.
