The report says that a departmental Il-76 aircraft with rescuers on board landed at the Zhukovsky airport, RIA Novosti reports.

Rescuers took part in the aftermath of the earthquake in Syria for a week.

Earlier, the Kremlin noted that Russian rescuers acted in Turkey and Syria professionally, heroically and effectively.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad arrived in the city of Jebla earlier to thank Russian rescuers for their help in eliminating the consequences of the earthquake.
