But as soon as it comes to making it official, they immediately try to avoid contact, ”said the parliamentarian.

He called the incident a "terrorist act" and added that such a thing "will not be left without a trace."

“We will continue and will try to do everything to bring this matter to its logical conclusion,” Chepa concluded.

Earlier, the deputies submitted to the State Duma a draft appeal to the UN with a proposal to conduct an international investigation into the undermining of the Nord Streams.

The American investigative journalist, Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh, said on February 8 that US Navy divers planted explosives under Nord Stream.

In his article, he wrote that the pipelines were mined during the NATO exercises Baltops 22 using remotely activated devices.
