Labor Minister Olivier Dussopt was arrested on Monday by a deputy from the La France insoumise group, Aurélien Saintoul, who accused him of being an "impostor" and an "assassin".

This accusation immediately caused a suspension of the Assembly during the already stormy debates on pensions.

Cries resounded and Olivier Dussopt left the hemicycle during the suspension, noted AFP.

When the session resumed, MP LFI apologized.

The Minister of Labor told him to "hear" these excuses but "do not forgive".
