Colonel Douglas McGregor, a former Pentagon adviser, said this in an interview with journalist Stephen Gardner.

According to McGregor, the front in southern Ukraine is "falling apart."

He also stressed that anyone who watches what is happening understands that the nature of hostilities in the world is beginning to change significantly and armored vehicles are gradually losing their role.

McGregor noted that the conflict will be dominated by intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), tied to strike artillery systems, missiles, conventional weapons.
