America The Nicaraguan dictatorship exiles more than 200 political prisoners to the US
The news traveled from Madrid to Washington at breakneck speed.

"We have been in communication with Spain,

The US authorities insist that the Sandinista decision was "unilateral" and that they only provided the logistics, which partly coincides with the explanations given to the country by Ortega.

several of those released have gotten down to work, since they have relatives in Spain

"It is an extremely positive decision, even for those who want to start a new life," they assured this newspaper.
In an irregular and unconstitutional procedure, the Sandinista caudillo forced the reform of a non-existent law, which also needs to be approved in two different legislatures.
