Deborah was born by planned caesarean section, but not because it was suspected that she was unusually large.

There was nothing to indicate that she would weigh more than an average-sized baby, which is 3.5 kilos in Sweden.

Sandra Wanderlei's first daughter weighed 4,130 kilos and Andreas Öhrvall's first child weighed 3,500 kilos.

- The doctors said that you can have a big baby if you have diabetes, but I never had that and neither did the baby.

Another reason could be if you eat a lot of sugar, but I didn't do that either, I ate as usual, says Sandra Wanderlei.

Breastfeed every three hours

When Deborah was born, she weighed 6,170 kilograms and was 54 centimeters long.

A week later, she weighs 5.6 kilos

- When she was born, she was breastfed and had milk replacer every two hours.

The doctors said she had a greater need for energy because she was so heavy, says Andreas Öhrvall.

- But now I'm starting my milk production so she just breastfeeds and now it's every three hours around the clock, says Sandra Wanderlei.

The world record of 10.7 kilos

But Deborah is not the heaviest baby ever.

According to the Guinness Book of Records, a baby weighing 10.7 kilograms was born in 1879.
