Earlier, the special envoy of the Russian president for Afghanistan, director of the second department of Asia at the Foreign Ministry, Zamir Kabulov, said that the US authorities are using the freezing of Afghanistan's funds as a tool to blackmail the republic.
In December, Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that Moscow was calling on Washington to immediately return the funds stolen from the Afghan people.
