The alarm came just before half past eleven on Wednesday evening and the rescue personnel were met by a fully developed fire.
Two people are said to have been in the apartment but managed to get out on their own.
According to the police's website, both are said to be injured and are being examined by an ambulance on site.
Shortly before 11 p.m., the police announced that a person had been taken to hospital by ambulance.
