Algeria accuses France of having clandestinely exfiltrated the Franco-Algerian activist Amira Bouraoui, from Tunis to Lyon, on Monday February 6.

The Algerian presidency announced in a press release published on Wednesday February 8 that Said Moussi, Algeria's ambassador to Paris, has been recalled to Algiers “

for consultation

 ” with immediate effect.

In an official note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Algeria strongly protested against "

the clandestine and illegal exfiltration, by diplomatic, consular and security personnel of the French State in Tunisia, of an Algerian national whose physical presence on the national territory is prescribed by the Algerian justice

 ”.

Algeria, which evokes the violation of its national sovereignty, rejects this “

inadmissible

 ” development which causes “

great damage

 ” to Algerian-French relations.
