The two who were injured, a man and a woman, both in their fifties, were participating in a guided snowmobile tour with several crews and were traveling on a snowmobile trail just south of Lindvallen when they lost control of the snowmobile.

Slightly damaged

Mountain rescue, emergency services and an ambulance were called to the scene and the injuries were assessed as minor, but both people were taken away in an ambulance for treatment.  

This is the fifth snowmobile accident in Sälenfjällen where people have been injured in just over a week.
