The idea was that the students would be bussed almost nine miles, round trip, to the schools in Arvidsjaur from March 13.

But now it won't be like that.

The teacher shortage is resolved until the summer holidays begin.

- It is absolutely fantastic and a heavy yoke that is lifted from our shoulders.

We are extremely grateful that this teacher is standing up, says Lena Ruth, acting head of school and municipal manager in Arvidsjaur.

Starts new recruitment process

The head of school says that they will now take another look at the recruitment process.

- Now we have gained time and have better conditions, says Ruth, who is relieved to have been able to inform staff and parents about the gratifying news:

- It is a good solution for the students and now the children, the parents and we can breathe a sigh of relief during the spring.
