From the countryside of Idlib (northwestern Syria), the media activist, Majed Abdel Nour, spoke about scenes that ripped his heart out, "I lived 13 years of war and I did not witness the amount of death as it is today. A mother with her children, a father with his children, and a brother with his brothers in one pit. I am unable to describe the scene." As much as I can't express.

As for the teacher, Muhammad Shawardi - who lives in the Syrian governorate of Idlib - he mourned his two daughters and his wife, who had lost them in the earthquake.

In a tweet, Adnan Jan recounted the tragedy of one of his relatives who left Istanbul for Antakya one day before the earthquake, so that the wife would die and the father would miraculously survive with his children.

One of my relatives left Istanbul with his family to escape the high rents.

Yesterday, the family arrived in Antakya and spent their first night there.

Today morning, the mother died under the rubble as a result of the earthquake.

The father survived with his children, but they became orphans.

As for the Syrian citizen, Fadi Al-Halabi, he said on his Facebook account that despite the passage of 24 hours after the earthquake, he still hears voices from under the rubble of the building in which 8 members of his family and 5 other relatives live.

It is noteworthy that the rescue operations of the stranded and the recovery of the bodies of the victims are still going on around the clock in Turkey and Syria, in conjunction with the arrival of dozens of foreign crews and the departure of thousands of volunteers to the affected areas to participate in the rescue efforts.
