Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton said she plans to propose legislation to ban any permanent fencing on the Capitol grounds.
“The distance between the government and the people has already grown, and trust in the government has reached a historic low,” the politician said.
Joe Biden on February 7 (February 8 Moscow time) will address the US Congress with the annual keynote speech.
