Ömer from Östersund: My brother dug up his wife and daughter from the racial masses

So far, over 5,000 people have been reported dead in the earthquake.

When Ömer Dönmez from Östersund found out what had happened, he tried to call his brother.

- Finally I caught him.

He shouted "my daughter and my wife", Ömer tells SVT Jämtland.

The epicenter of the quake is a short distance from Hatay, where Ömer Dönmez has relatives.

Nevertheless, the area is badly affected by the earthquake.
