He also recalled that in some regions there may be different vacation time preferences.

They prefer to take holidays in the summer.
They are trying to plan their vacation in such a way that it does not affect labor productivity and the production process and, at the same time, give people the opportunity to relax in the summer, based on specific geographical and climatic conditions.
Therefore, I propose to discuss this and, if there is support from employers, trade unions and the government, then labor legislation will need to be adjusted, ”concluded the interlocutor of RT.
Earlier, Anton Orlov, director of the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Politics, proposed simplifying the division of annual paid leave.
He noted that the labor legislation states that vacation can be divided into parts, but one of them must be at least 14 days.
But, according to Orlov, this norm can be burdensome both for the employer and for the employee, for whom the preferred option is to divide the vacation, for example, into four periods of seven days.
