The Sami national day in focus in schools - with reindeer on the menu: "Tastes a little special"

February 6 is the Sami National Day.

There was a little extra attention around the municipality's kitchen on Monday.

At some of the schools and in other canteens, representatives from the Sami association in Västernorrland were also present.

In addition, there were Sami flags with information about the Sami culture.

Clean on the menu

And the highlight was of course the food, something that seemed to be appreciated among the students at Vibackeskolan in Alnö.

- I ate most of it.

The reindeer meat tasted a bit special, it didn't taste like cow, for example, says student Ola.
