Marochko: Russian military occupied a number of advantageous positions and lines near Seversk

This was announced by Lieutenant Colonel of the LPR, retired Andrey Marochko.

“In the area of ​​​​the settlement of Seversk, our units, in the course of active offensive operations, took up more advantageous lines and positions,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

Marochko explained that this allowed him to control new areas of the terrain and deliver more effective strikes against the enemy.

Earlier, Marochko said that the group of Ukrainian troops, which is located in Seversk in the DPR, may soon be surrounded.

On February 3, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian military continued their offensive in the Donetsk direction and occupied more advantageous lines.
