Kresy: Blaszczak's wreath-laying at the memorial with the UPA flag sparked outrage in Poland

According to Kresy, the department published photos from events with the participation of the minister.

On one of them, Blaschak knelt in front of the memorial, but on the frame there was a painted graffiti with the flag of the UPA.

According to the newspaper, this caused a sharp reaction in society and the absence of explanations from the authorities.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Defense deleted all the photos that caused a resonance, and the post on Twitter.

Representatives of the Confederation of the Polish Crown party previously submitted a bill to the Sejm that requires citizens of Ukraine living in Poland to condemn the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA)* and the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN)*.
