85 areas remain from previous decisions and in total there are now 114 areas.
The area of the bird protection areas increases by approximately 62 hectares to approximately 2,879.
- To make it easy for all visitors to the archipelago to do the right thing, clearly visible signs on all islands with bird protection and other information material will be updated as soon as possible based on available resources, says Martin Larsson, nature conservation manager at the Östergötland County Administrative Board in a press release.
