He said that Ukrenergo is in an intensive mode restoring power facilities in the Odessa region and is currently focused on restoring one of them.
“According to our forecasts, by the end of the next working week we must complete these works and at the end of the working week the situation should improve significantly,” RIA Novosti quoted Kudritsky as saying.
He clarified that almost 300,000 subscribers in Odessa and the Odessa region now have "very limited power supply."
As Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said earlier, about 40% of consumers in Odessa remain without electricity.
