The publication reports that “frightened neighbors” wanted to demolish the house, but the Skripals sold it in September 2019 for £260,000.
A local resident bought it under a joint ownership scheme.
As expected, repair work and improvement of the house will be completed in June, after which the house will be settled.

The victims were ex-GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter.
Britain blamed Russia for what happened, while Moscow condemned London's attempts to shift responsibility for the Skripal case to the Russian side.
Russian leader Vladimir Putin noted that the situation with the poisoning of the Skripals was the reason for organizing an attack on Russia.
On September 2, 2022, the Russian Embassy in London requested the British Foreign Office to provide information on the health status and whereabouts of Sergei and Yulia Skripal.
