The department wrote about this in its Telegram channel.
"An unidentified person crossed the border fence from Israeli territory into Lebanon," the report said.
Israel and Lebanon have been at war for many years, the border of the two countries is officially closed.
Last fall, the Israeli government approved an agreement to demarcate the maritime border with Lebanon.
Recently, the Israeli Defense Ministry also reported an air defense interception of a small aircraft over the Gaza Strip.
