It was Norr Media that first reported on the Medical Association's alarm report, which states that half of the doctors in Norrbotten do not have time to do their jobs.
The report is based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's standard of one doctor per 1,110 inhabitants, which means that there are 141 district doctors missing in Norrbotten.
- I am concerned about the development and see that we have a lot of work to do.
Sunderby Hospital at the bottom
The largest recruiting area for the region is those who do AT service after medical training, but even the new doctors give the region a poor rating.
Sunderby Hospital was ranked last autumn as the worst workplace by AT doctors.
Now the region wants to rebuild cooperation with the trade unions in order to reverse the trend,
which you can hear the regional council tell you more about in the clip above.
