Until this Sunday, the Retromobile show, which is held at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, honors old vehicles that have marked their era and whose popularity continues to grow.

Between vintage cars, outstanding sports cars and treasures from the 1930s, there is something for everyone.

It's an increasingly popular event that attracts enthusiasts of old mechanics and which summons buried memories in some people.

The Retromobile show, which gives pride of place to old and collectible cars, is open until Sunday at the Porte de Versailles in Paris.

The attendance record and the auction record should be beaten.

In the middle of the aisles, Dominique strolls with a smile on her face.

Accompanied by a friend, he immerses himself in a nostalgia sequence.

"We talk, we laugh, there is an atmosphere! And then it's nice to see old cars that I knew when I was a kid. We say to ourselves 'Hey, do you know that one?'

or even 'Oh that car, I didn't remember!'

You see, that's it."

A booming market

A little further on, Jean-Marc is in his element among the cars of the 1930s and other great classics such as the 2CV or the R5, not to mention the sports cars.

"When you are a car enthusiast, you have attended races. And there, to see these cars again, there are lots of memories that come back: the noise, the howl of the engines, the music of the engines. And then the cars French who made the glory of the automotive industry", he lists.
