The order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

It says that the register will include a full range of reliable data on the use and condition of agricultural land and on the plots and buildings that are located there.

“This resource will become a tool for assessing the state of land for agricultural production.

It will make it possible to quickly find opportunities for new agricultural projects, including those to increase food production,” the order says.

On December 13, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers announced that the Russian government had allocated 5 billion rubles for lending to the agricultural sector in 2023.
