According to Emil Jansson, group leader at the police's investigation unit in Västmanland, however, it is difficult for the police to get access to nitrous oxide sellers, who outwardly sell a legal product.

- It is the legislator's task to decide whether nitrous oxide should be illegal, but since it occurs so much in drug circles, there is a connection, that is what I see, he says.

In larger cities such as Stockholm, nitrous oxide is often sold outside pubs.

In Västerås it is a different pattern.

It is more common for nitrous oxide to be driven out and used at private events or outdoors.
